'We booked just a couple of hours before arrival. When we arrived around 4 PM, the place was completely closed. One phone call later, the staff drove over and opened everything up for us. A magnificent place, which is clearly reflected in the photos. Dinner was served from the restaurant and drinks from the bar. Both the restaurant and the bar are nothing short of world-class quality. 'The view is absolutely stunning! There's quite a big difference in rooms. Some of the rooms are completely renovated (specially the bathroom) and others are not. We got lucky and received a brand new room, but friends of ours didn't and the bathroom was in real need of renovations. The reception isn't always that friendly, but overall we had a very nice stay, the view (such a beautiful bay) and breakfast (what is wonderful, by the way) make up for those little inconvenients '

'No hotel is better situated for you to enjoy Lake Ohrid. It is right on the lake and is so serene, peaceful and beautiful. We took great pleasure sitting on the balcony enjoying the bird calls, deep blue water and clouds slipping along in the sky. The husband and wife owners were wonderful, they gave us suggestions of additional places to enjoy that we were unaware of. The meals were very good. I would come back.'
