'pfffff...horrible. Very noisy, we checked in late around 9.30 pm and we were welcomed with loud karaoke music. The price does not match the room. the room was very simple. I guess you pay for the location. We stayed 2 nights. We didnot sleep very well in this hotel. I had to use earplugs.They start to drag heavy furniture very early every morning. I think already around 6 am and maybe even earlier. You can hear the dragging noise very well. The doors are probably handmade and not very well made....

'Tembo hotel is a cool hotel at the seafront near the Freddy Mercury house. Its located near the fhorodani market and square. The hotel is a fantastic historically decorated building that comes out of a fairytale. The rooms are extremely spacious, The room had a refirgerator, free water supply and coffee and tea. The bathroom was clean with a large shower and clean toilet. The room was not in the main hotel building although there was a concierge available and the room had a safe. Great...

'Posto spettacolare, direttamente sulla spiaggia, con un bellissimo giardino tropicale, compresa una piccola colonia di scimmie rosse. Ristorante ottimo per la colazione, ma anche per i vari pasti. Servizio in spiaggia, piscina, lettini ed asciugamani. Le camere necessitano di un rinnovamento, ma sono spaziose e pulite. La zona è molto tranquilla e sicura.'

'Stayed their for two nights. It was a wonderfull experience and a good place to rest after climbing Kilimanjaro. Was a good start voor my stay on Zanzibar.'

'Het hotel ligt vlakbij velen restaurants en alles is op loopafstand te doen. Het hotel is erg schoon en netjes, en de tuin is een oase van rust (fijn na de drukte van Stonetown zelf). Het personeel is super en doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Vooral barman Mohammet verdiend een dikke pluim!'
