« Takanoya is a wonderful traditional ryukan style onsen. I highly recommend it. The rooms are clean and well kept, the onsen is hot and private, and the proprietor is thoughtful and generous. »

« This was the first time we stayed here. My husband and I had a western style room and it was very roomy, furnished nicely, staff was polite and knowledgeable, had an onsite onsen too. Free shuttle service to the train station too. We would be happy to stay here again! »

« The hotel is located near the ski lift, which is very convenient. You can also rent your ski gear from the hotel. The continental breakfast is very good. However, the hotel is really outdated and dirty. The common areas were full of live and dead bugs, and the wifi was not accessible in the room. « Hotel Futaba truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed as a family of five, and the room was incredibly spacious, more like staying in an apartment than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both breakfast and dinner were included, which was a huge bonus and meant we didn’t have to go out searching for food after a long day of snowboarding. « Incredibly clean and hygienic place, I’ve stayed there before and loved it! Super close to the ski resort, onsen visit is included, they have storage for your ski/ snowboard equipment as well as free laundry. The showers are amazing as well as the room heaters. I love staying here and I will be returning next year :) might just be an annual trip! They also have a great kitchen setup, along with Beer on draft! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!! 😊 »

« Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops. The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. »
