'We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. '

'Chapter Two is right in the heart of Malton, close to shops & restaurants. The rooms are spacious, with quirky decor & immaculately clean. Chapter Two is a lively bar for a G&T or cocktail, the staff are very friendly. We cycled to Malton and were abke to store our bikes in the secure lobby throughout our stay. Can't recommend this place highly enough!'

'For someone who doesn't drive, this is a perfect spot, 10mins walk from train station, and local village, bus right outside property going to whitby and the moors. Accommodation itself perfect, everything you need and the hot tub was a bonus, very quiet area'

'All was fine. Just a one night stay, this is a very convenient location, with parking, and close to York (but avoiding the traffic of York). Having wifi and breakfast are also good reasons to choose this hotel.'

'Stayed here on business and ticket all the right boxes. The room was a bit warm though, despite that the heat had dropped off these last few days. Nice bar area and nice selection of ales. The restaurant was in a real pretty setting. Easy parking in the vicinity of the hotel and they even had parking spaces in front of the rooms which are at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. '

'The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend...
