« Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave . »

« Great location and great property. Half hour walk into York with easy parking. Room was spacious and clean and with a very nice bathroom. Indoor pool and jacuzzi and sauna were clean and easy to use. Definitely recommend »
