This spacious villa is furnished with modern contemporary furnishings, large open plan lay out for modern living. Casa Maelle is a few minutes' walk to a mini market, 5 minute walk to a local bar and a 15-20 minute walk to the town.

This superb family villa has something for everyone with the relaxing hot tub on the roof terrace, playing pool on the sun terrace, having a dip in the pool or table football. For the energetic we have tennis, with rackets provided.

The alfresco dining and BBQ area is the jewel in the crown for Maelle, a superb sheltered area with seating, BBQ, hob, fridge and bar perfect day or night.

A small convenience shop can be reached in just a few minutes’ walk from the villa. Also, just a 5 minute walk away, there is a local bar – “El Tonel” – serving great local food all day.

Pool heating is included in the winter months (please contact us with any questions regarding this).

Location in a residential area was as expected. However the villa needs a major overhaul - spacious but extremely tired. Basic is how best to describe it - several light fittings were not working or partially working, interior of fridge door had lost all shelves, cooking equipment long past its use by date, waste paper on floor of upstairs main bedroom, both with no plug, bin in bathroom lost it lid on first use, bin lid in kitchen no longer operable as a pedal bin, guide book/reference notes had inaccurate and outdated information, lots of stains and well worn. The supply of towels and quality of same was deplorable. Pool was warm on first use, then we discovered it was no longer being heated. A service engineer called next day - electrical fault- but pool never again was as hot. The hot tub was also out of action - electrical fault- but this is also not working correctly - temperature control is out of order, - service technician got the tub running, but temperature was never working correctly, the motor would run for a day without warming up - totally useless. The supply of and quality of towel provided was appalling. Downstairs shower tray is lethal - extremely slippery. It is obvious that the house is b8uilt with some years but has not been updated - doors are appalling - water ingress a major issue in upstairs bedroom, a warning posted on the door was not very welcoming. We have stayed in at least 10 other villas in Lanzarote and without doubt this is the most basic

A fantastic stay

My family stayed at the villa for a week during December to catch some long awaited winter sun .. and it didn’t disappoint! The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious and included everything to get us started (including thoughtful welcome items). We spent a lot of time taking in the sunsets from the beautiful hot tub terrace and splashing about in the private heated pool. Any questions we had were answered quickly and helpfully, and the location was also really handy for walks into Playa Blanca. It was a perfect stay and we would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful large villa in an excellent location with all amenities you would need.

We were a party of 8, two families of four. We had plenty of space and had everything we needed during our stay. Upon arrival we found that we’d been left a bottle of wine, fizz, milk, bread, juice, cheese and a few tea bags, sugar sachets, coffee sachets and also a pack containing washing up liquid, sponge and cloth - none of which we had expected - lovely thought! Playa Blanca shops and restaurants were a 15 minute walk away which was ideal. There’s however also a great little shop just a few minutes walk away plus a bar serving great food. We’d definitely recommend this villa and would stay again.

Excellent Vacation

Stayed at Casa Maelle in early October with 3 other couples. Villa is spacious, extremely well-equipped and everything was clean and in good order. As a couple who almost always pick self-catering properties for our holidays, we were impressed with this one. Not being full-time sun worshippers and wanting to see more of the island than just the local beaches and bars, we rented a car for our stay. This meant that from our perspective the villa's location was ideal - a quite residential area just a short (5 min) drive away from the local supermarkets and the bars and restaurants in Playa Blanca. We had three minor issues during our stay - the shower in the master bedroom took a long time to drain out, the air conditioning in one room kept turning off after 5 minutes and on one occasion there was no hot water to wash up after breakfast. We contacted the villa management team and they came round promptly to investigate. The hot water issue turned out to simply be the result of 6 people having showers at around the same time in the morning so all the hot water had been used up (it was back up to temp. within an hour). The air conditioning issue turned out to be a setting on the remote control, not a problem with the unit. The shower drainage has been an ongoing intermittent problem - see other reviews - but a temporary fix was made and on the day we left, plumbers were in to implement a permanent solution. As well as the rapid response to our call, the villa management team also gave us a restaurant recommendation where we had one of the best lunches we've enjoyed on our holidays! Would happily recommend this villa for anyone who is looking for well-appointed holiday accommodation close to Playa Blanca but away from the noise and bustle of the bars / nightlife. Whilst having a car is not essential - the local taxis were quick and inexpensive - it does make things more convenient.

Stunning large villa with everything that we needed. In a residencila area which was very quiet. Lovely and quiet. Walk into Playa Blanca was ok. 20mins. One or two things need replacing but overall very good.

Great family holiday

Had a great time at the villa. We have done many self catering breaks in the uk but never abroad before. Although there was a starter pack provided which was lovely, small things cld have bn provided such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, fire lighters for the barbi.felt the villa cld have bn cleaner, the floors were dirty and sand on the couch it felt like it just had a skim over instead of a proper clean. same sheets for a week isnt ideal abroad due to the creams used. The air conditioing was not working properly we were putting money in the box and not feeling much benefit to find out a few days later someone was coming to replace a part. Also the shower in the main bedroom the water was not running away properly causing overflow advised the shower needed to be ripped out to repair and this could not be done due to bookings. Everything else was great for a family holiday. Pool was great, the villa its self was a good size. In an ideal location, very quiet when we were there. Small shop across the road although the hyperdino was cheaper and a bigger selection. Nice restuarants and bars within walking distance. Weather was great. Overall a great holiday, I would recommend this villa to family/friends just need to tighten up on a few things.

Fantastic and really spacious villa. Most well equipped Villa we have stayed in. We did have issues on first day with hot water and electrics but someone was there within 10 minutes with temporary solution and back next day. Couldn’t have asked for a better response-things do happen but couldn’t fault management company for how they dealt with it. Didn’t spoil a fantastic holiday with the family-thank you
