The pictures made it seem much cleaner, nicer, and more updated, but the reality was completely different. I feel the listing was misleading, because what I saw online did not match the actual condition of the hotel in any way. I would not have booked this place if the photos and description had been accurate.'

'The parking lot was littered with trash. The noise in the parking lot was loud in the middle of the night. The shower in the room partially operated with half the water coming out of the spicket and half out the shower head.'

'On street parking was extremely accessible and the caretakers did a fantastic job of making sure we had a spot right out front. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and other tractions in a less than 5-minute walk.'

'Each staff member we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. The property is very clean and well maintained. We were staying for a lacrosse event at Utica Park, so this was very convenient. The park is a 7-10 minute easy drive.'

'This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Walking into the hotel it smelled terrible. Upon checking in I was told the elevator wasn’t working. This was a big inconvenience since I was traveling with children and we had to carry all of our bags up. The room smelled like cat pee. I had to find a Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies. All the lamps didn’t work and it was only one outlet in the room .I would not recommend stay at this location!!!!!'

'Night person not friendly . Kind of rude when asked questions. Told me to take garbage to dumpster. Noone came to get trash or clean or bring new towels. was there since Thursday. Cleaning staff was nice when I asked for a broom. to clean up the floor after 2 days of a 4 yr old. Price for market a little expensive.'

'Found 3 cockroaches in the room ! I have stayed at the red horse a number of times when visiting Frederick MD. But this time I woke up to find 3 cockroaches in the bathroom. The place is getting a little run down. The drapes had holes in them and the bathroom tile had cracks. The low flow shower and faucet aren't to good. The air conditioning works really good.'
