'We had a very enjoyable stay at the Scone Arms. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the improvements already completed look fantastic. 'We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. 'De fotos op de website zijn alleen van de accomodaties van het hoofdgebouw. Die mooi, unique maar outdated is. Wij kregen soort van motel6 kamer toegewezezn. Tegen betaling mochten we kamer in hoofdgebouw. Personeel bij ontbijt waren super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Dit was het enige maar doorslaggevende wat ons bezoek heeft verbeterd om fijne vakantie op t estate te hebben.'

'First off, we weren’t in the main hotel building, so I can’t comment on that other than it looked ok from reception. We were in the row of rooms to the right of of the main entrance, along the main road. A surprisingly noisy main road. The room was spacious, but stank of wet dog.
