« I'll start with the positive. Beautiful spot and very close to shops and dining. About a 50 minute drive up to the main attractions in Squoia and 30 minutes from Visilia. Bed was very comfy and AC worked great! Now for the "could be better" part. The checkin process requires several additional steps through a seperate website from VRBO. « This was a great location for us to access Kings Canyon. There are other rental spaces (yurts) on the property but they are not close by and nothing is shared with them. We didn’t cook while there, but noticed decent cookware and spices and oil. Shower was tricky to figure out but was a nice hot shower. (Not for tall people though!). Bed was comfy. Excellent darkening shade in windows. »

« My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were...

« The location was great but it went downhill from there. Not very clean, the bed was hard as well as the couch. The cheap blinds did not keep put the light so i ended up sleeping in tje next room on the couch soiyt was darker. Saturday morning was very noisy with trash trucks at 5 am. I paid a pretty penny to stay in a place that was just disappointing from the moment I secured the place with an invasive email from the management company wanting my ID front amd back and a picture of me... but...

« When we arrived it was 95 degrees and the window air conditioner had NOT been turned on and we arrived around 5pm and not cool till about 2am. AC unit not big enough for the size of room. Sparse on plates, glasses and silverware. Only 1 wash rag for 2 people. Needs new gasket on entry door. No check-out instructions. With these upgrades it would rate a rating of 9.5 out of 10. »

« The room was cute and the pictures at booking made the room look promising. However, we realized the remodel must have happen a few years ago as there was some maintenance issues the room is in need of in the small bathroom. The air conditioner almost cooled the room as the summer heat came in thru door that wasn’t sealed all the way. Our relatives stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment and that was lovely! »

« We had a comfortable and great stay at Sequoia Motel for the Christmas weekend with our pup! The rooms are labeled and parking is right in front of the rooms. Keypad is on the door. Everything was clean, appreciated the keurig dual pods/coffee pot and extra mugs and microwave and mini fridge/freezer. Make sure you bring water for your coffee/hot cocoa/tea needs. Bed was comfortable and we slept well after full days of adventures in Sequoia. Customer Service was pleasant through VRBO...
