« We had a wonderful stay at Ellen & Scott's place. The unit is spacious yet cozy. They provided everything needed for a stress free get away. The grounds are lovely, we especially enjoyed our time out on the private deck. Kitchen and bathroom are nicely stocked. The unit also has a washer/dryer which is a nice option. The bed was super comfy and the AC cooled down the space nicely on a hot/humid night.Scott and Ellen are wonderful hosts, we enjoyed chatting with them, their dogs are well behaved...

« Absolutely perfect! Spotless, plenty of space for our family. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants. Host replaced gas grill within an hour of us letting them know it was not working properly. Second time staying here and definitely will be back! »

« We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. It was a nice balance of rustic, cozy charm for an 1800s farmhouse with the right touch of modern amenities. We got to explore the property a little bit, getting to see the horses, cows, and pigs. « This is our 2nd year staying at the maverick apartment in Wolfeboro. If you can’t have a beach house on the lake, this is a great location for enjoying downtown Wolfeboro. You can walk to everything and the apartment is clean and pretty well stocked. While the apartment is on one level, there are 10 steps up to the entrance. We usually found parking but it can be a challenge. We bring a couple of extra frying pans—and only one closet has a rod. But the kitchen is efficient with new appliances....

« We stayed here because we were in town for a concert in Gilford and it was great! Perfect location, close to the venue and the lake was beautiful. It was lovely waking up to seeing the sparkling water. Would stay again. »

« Stayed a couple of nights in order to enjoy the Wolfeboro Christmas parade and tree lighting as well as the Nutcracker at Kingswood Performing Arts Center. Apartment is cozy and within walking distance of downtown area for entertainment, shopping and restaurants. »

« Lisa was a wonderful host, very accommodating to our needs, always got back to us asap when we had any questions and supplied things like snacks, water & coffee which was not expected at all. My only slight disappointment, I say slight because we had so much to do that we didn't really have time to enjoy it, was the lake view. I expected the lake to be directly across from the house with a straight clear view but the house was one house up from the corner. However, I would certainly book here...
