« Fieldways hotel has been our choice over the past 10 years but on this occasion we were very disappointed with the lack of staff available at any time, seemed a like a “Look after yourself” scenario’ Our main concern was that we paid £24 more than ever before and there was no cooked breakfast!! The toilets were very dated and needed a complete overhaul/clean. My comment to my wife was that I did not think the hotel would stay open for long and that it seemed as though it was going to be closed...

« Very well located and easy access to the property. We asked to change rooms as we had to have the window open due to hot weather on the busy road and we were immediately offered a room at the back. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. Would definitely recommended a stay here. »

« It's a nice feeling to be inside a college dorm and inside the Cathedral Close. The location is perfect. Our room was big with a bow window, but the curtains were not black out drapes. Breakfast was good and the parking on site was very convenient. The corridor was a little noisy when other guest talked at night or in the morning, but there were few of them. Overall, a great experience. »

« The room was fine but as we went on the hottest day of the year it was like an oven. We were provided with a large fan though. Other than that it was a lovely building and the staff were great. »
