Look, it’s old. The elevators are exceptionally fast. But the hotel is OLD. If you like 1920’s-1930’s era rooms then this is for you. Peach tile bathroom, plate glass windows, low low toilet water pressure then this is it. Breakfast is off the hook.

Our room was terrible. It was nothing like the pictures indicated. The room looked old and tired and greatly in need of an update. The carpeting had large visible seams and looked like it was pieced together from sections from other rooms. There was a cable for the TV that was exposed and ran across the threshold leading into the bedroom. It created a significant tripping hazard. The room was not large enough to fit the two queen sized beds as you had about 12 inches to squeeze by the bed to get into the bathroom, I don’t feel the room was worth the money we paid for it and will not trust Expedia or Best Western for my future accommodations.

The Genetti has been my go-to place to stay when visiting my daughter at college. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, and it's in walking distance of any of the unique restaurants and shops in downtown Williamsport.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a historic hotel who has had lots of famous visitors over the years. A little work would go a long way. The bed was comfortable but not luxurious like other new hotels. The room was clean although the bathroom could have used a little more attention. There are some really good restaurants and bars within walking distance, and lots of places within driving distance. All in all we had a nice stay. A little work would go a long way to making this historic hotel a great place to stay.

The hotel is historic, and very old, which did not bother me Room was clean, except for a potato chip bag on the floor We were told the maid hadn’t finished cleaning and we were not supposed to be given that room yet, Also, the folks above us were having what seemed to be a dance party until 330am I called the night manager and he took care of it, but also gave me a discount. Breakfast was awesome, and so was the server

Historic hotel within walking distance of several restaurants, breweries and coffee shops. Free convenient parking and great breakfast included. Staff was personable and helpful. May not have all the modern amenities of the newer hotels (basic TV in room), but a great place to stay when in Williamsport.
