Was a perfect location and very clean. Would be nice to stay there in the summer and enjoy the lake. Definitely no more than two people as it is quite small

Place was good, but so dry. Older place but bed was very good. Tea pot and electric tea pot are old and chipping so don't use them. Beach was nice but no chairs when we went, maybe since it was October

Beautiful, Peaceful setting

We really enjoyed our stay. The Bay and lakes there couldn't be any prettier. I was under the impression each unit had a bay view. Our unit had a garden view. It was still very pretty. I didn't specifically ask. Everyone there is super friendly and accommodating and the cool clean air and water are refreshing. It's very humid where I live. I definitely recommend it!

Perfect getaway!

We always try to stay at The Shores! Love the quiet area, the lovely condos, the beach, and the ease of staying there. This place worked just perfectly for my husband and I. We will be back to The Shores!

Grand Traverse Bay Condo Stay

good location, just outside of town. Nice facility, but not a beach front condo. We were in building 8 which is in the woods, a short distance from beach. Pool and beach area was nice. Had issues with the thermostat, call center was responsive but it took 3 of our 4 day stay to resolve. Also had issue with the dishwasher. It was filled with stinky water and when we tried to run it (as per the rental agreement) the water leaked onto the floor. This was not resolved during our stay. Overall, we would stay here again.

Good location

Great location. There's a little beach park and playground right next door. We had no problem using all of the amenities and pool at Grand Traverse, which was a nice perk.

Could be better

The location was nice with the beach. The cleanliness of the condo was not the best. The carpet had stains along with the blue chair appeared dirty and worn out. The bed was extremely uncomfortable but we made due. I would definitely stay in the area again but not with this condo/complex.

I like the condo. The only problem I had was with the kitchen table and a very small living room chair. I am a tall guy and my knees would not fit under part of the kitchen table. Living room chair is way too small. The condo was very clean and nice.

After hours fill-in support was the shining spot

The room that was booked was a total disaster, dirty bed, dirty bath room, full dishwasher, terrible smell. The communication prior to getting to the location was terrible, no response, had no idea how to check-in let alone get into the room. I had to call the office after hours and luckily I reached a person that was extremely helpful. That person got me changed into a more acceptable unit, although she did not know where it was in the complex so i had to drive around searching in the dark for it. I sent follow up emails after my stay and got no response to my complaints. I would not recommend staying at a property that is run by this management company.

Nice cute place to stay

Check in process was very simple. Host communicated and was prompt in responding. Place was cute and right outside of Traverse City making it easy to get to downtown and other surrounding places. Everything we needed was provided and available! Definitely would book again!

Great location, a little tight for 4 but we managed

The place is super cute clean and awesome location- there were 2 adults and 2 20+ year olds that had to sleep on the hide a bed - bedroom bed very comfortable, hide.a Bed not so much - that needs a new mattress - and the pool is not available to guests but the beach is great!!!!

Incredible Location, Exactly as Described

Check-in was a breeze, it’s a nice benefit to not have to deal with any physical keys. The access to a private beach is a huge plus! The outdoor pool was completely closed to everyone, so at least I didn’t have to explain to the small kids in my family why we weren’t able to use it. I think it’s important to know that the fridge isn’t full-size and there is no oven, but it does allow for there to be slightly more counter space. The kitchen was otherwise well-equipped. Thank you!

Love the Shores

Paid for early checkin and staff was cleaning the condo when we walked up. Staff stated she didn’t know that there was an early checkin. Still enjoyed the week there.

Fun trip!

We had a wonderful stay and quickly fell in love with Traverse city! A few disappoints with our stay—the pool was already closed for the season and that was not communicated. It is also misleading to call this a “beach front” condo. All the photos are of the *only* beach front condo but the condo we were put in was a good 3-5 min walk from the beach. It would have been fine but it is misleading to not be more clear in the listing. Overall though it was a nice, clean place and we would come back!

Recommended for anyone visiting TC for the first time

Location was great,private beach access and location was central to most things to do. A short distance from the main public beach ,so for anyone that prefers less crowds and more chilled community,this is the place
