'We had a wonderful experience at this motel. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were great—super friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we checked in. On top of that, the location is fantastic and made it incredibly easy to get around. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again!'

'Location is quiet, lots of parking. The heating isn’t suited for families in the family villa in winter. The lowest setting on the gas heater makes the place unbearably hot overnight and unbearably cold with it off. Instructions say not to use the air con in winter. It makes sense for eco friendly approaches to accomodation however guest comfort also needs to be considered.'

'Being winter there was no extra blankets. Air conditioner cut in and out every 5-10 minutes so the room didn’t stay warm. There were very rowdy people in other rooms carrying on till late in the night.'

'Travelled with my husband and two toddlers (1 and 2.5 year old) and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and beds were so comfortable. Loved the big open area and the kids enjoyed running around. We loved the farm animals! My kids were obsessed! Definitely will come back so we can do more activities at the resort when they’re older.'

'Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. '

'On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. Rooms were not serviced.For $1,000 for two nights, it was definitely not worth the money and would say, was the worst place we’ve stayed in Pokolbin. Very...
