« I have to say that this site was the most well stocked and developed camp site that we have ever visited. It had everything, and Aaron was a very accommodating host. We could not have asked for more. For everything that the site offered - from hot shower to fully electrically powered lights and refrigerator to the grills, we were in awe. This is definitely a place to stay for multiple nights. If anything, I think the description under-sells what they have to offer. Highly recommended. »

« This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun...

« "We had an absolute blast at this lake house! The location was perfect for our family, with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and we spent hours just sitting there, watching the sunset. The kids loved all the outdoor activities, and my wife and I enjoyed some much-needed R&R. We can't wait to come back and experience it...

« This comfy cabin can sleep 6 people no problem! With a close quarters experience made staying more the fun! EasyAccess to kayaks and canoes was awesome. Had a couple Beavers going back n forth in front of the cabin as well! Bailey the Neighbor dog stopped by to say hi in the yard along with Chancellor and Lous minutes prior. Thanks again for your accommodations. We would love to visit again in the future! »

« A wonderfully hidden gem. A step back in time. Idealic Maine camp with wood floors and stone fireplace. Absolutely beautiful property with views of the water from every window and evening sunsets to enjoy. Explored the rocky beach and loved the dock! »

« We had a lovely stay. Very comfortable king size bed with plenty of good pillows. Shower had wonderful pressure! Kitchen well equipped. Quiet and view over lake serene. Enjoyed the loon and bald eagle. Best for 2 people bunk room very small. Would recommend and come back ourselves, but longer stay. serene. »

« Communication with Property Owner was excellent. This cute little cottage has been renovated and has a nice feel indoors. There is a beautiful porch on the back with a lovely view. The unit includes a mini fridge and mini microwave along with a little table and two chairs. If you have long hair, water pressure could be a concern. My shower worked great but the sink water pressure was not strong. The bed was comfortable and the decor was nice. The air conditioning works fine. »

« Everything about this house was perfect. We really enjoyed watching the eagles fly around and the fish jump in the river. My son had a great time fishing off the dock. It was incredibly quiet, but the sites weren’t too far away. We loved that we weren’t battling crowds all week. Most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years! »

« Check-in, check-out, all communication with the owner was A. Great place for some quiet peaceful camping/glamping. Plenty to do, swim, kayak, fish, hike around the island, or just relax…it’s very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen facilities are great. Mind you its a camping kitchen, but grill, propane, utensils, plates, pots pans, everything you would need is provided…except for the food. Cabin was comfortable and clean, plenty of room. Overall I’d say the place is A »
