Motels in White Mountains

'We booked for two nights and stayed a third too. And if time permitted, we would have booked a 4th and a 5th! The location is superb and centrally located in the White Mountains (we hiked the Lonesome Lake trail and the Franconia Ridge trail loop). Randy and Jonathan are perfect hosts, who dealt very well with our coffee addiction and brought us additional cups every morning. 'If you want to walk out your door and be able to wade in the beautiful Pemigewasset then this is the place. Very convenient location for local outings, cute cottages, comfy beds, working ACs. The bathroom was literally filthy though. We wore flip flops in the shower. If you can look past that, well, staying on the river was really pretty and relaxing.'

'What a mess. €209 for a night you could better have spend in a barn. Not a normal breakfast (not even tea) and workers started working in a room next to mine at 0800 when I was working. Too expensive, terrible old mess. Check out at 10am also way too early. '

'A note to anyone who may be EMF sensitive: Our room had a wifi 'booster' up on the wall so we were effectively being exposed to EMF radiation at all times when in the room. It would have been nice if we could have had it turned off during our sleeping hours. But nobody ever thinks of these things and it is nearly always assumed that folks just automatically want reliable wifi in their rooms.'
