Head through to the contemporary kitchen/diner which has everything you need to cook and eat together before or after a busy day out. Get competitive in the games room playing on the console or battling over table football. If taking some time out is more your thing, settle down on the lounge’s comfortable sofas in front of the gas fire and Smart TV. A handy utility room has laundry facilities, and a stylish shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs are the four bedrooms, a super-king-size, a king-size, a twin room, and a single, as well as a bathroom with a double walk-in shower and oval bath. Through the patio doors in the kitchen, you will find a large patio area and lawn, with seating for al fresco dining, and views over to the sea.

Sandsend has a lovely sand and shingle beach (200 metres) set below high clifftops and is great for paddling, relaxing and rock pooling. There are also some pubs and places to eat within 500 metres of this wonderful home. Head further afield to Whitby (3 miles) and visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Whitby Abbey, or simply meander the streets and visit the eclectic mix of shops and restaurants.
