Strandhotels in Westport

'Although a 30-min walk from the town, it's in a nice spot, has a modern feel to it and is comfortable. The pool was good, the breakfast alright and the bar ok too.'

'Great hotel in the heart of Westport! Breakfast was terrific, rooms clean and spacious, walkable to everywhere in town and close to shops, restos and pubs. Also a good take off point for Kylemore Abbey, Achill island, etc. Would definitely return! '

'Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted...
