Motels in Western Pennsylvania

'The hotel seems pretty new from first glance. Room is spacious. Bedding is pretty comfortable. TV is new, and there is a big couch and a sitting area by the window. Breakfast is more basic than Hampton of Holiday Inn Express. But my main issue was with their management. Even though I prepaid for my stay through Expedia, the hotel still wrongly charged me for the night (they turned my deposit into a charge!). I called the hotel repeatedly across 3 days in the AM and in the PM but no one ever...

'I like everything about my stay with the exception of the noise of traffic on the wet roads when I was trying to get to sleep.'

'Shower in cottage is quite small. My husband, who is small, felt cramped. Cabin itself is also very small. Sunset over the lake was probably the best we’ve ever seen. '

'I got a super rate & knew I was just there to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable although a little worn. The property is currently under renovation. I appreciated the quiet though some might say spooky because only a few guests were staying. Fantastic deal for those looking for basics. There's a game room, a workout space, iron, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, tv, and a pool which was a little murky but seemed swimmable. Staff was friendly.'

'When I pulled up, the property looked deserted. Called to summon desk to check me in. He was very polite. The top safety latch was missing on my door, which being in the hotel all by myself was a little unnerving. Literally, I was alone with no hotel workers. There was no breakfast set up. I will say that everything looked very clean. Almost looked like they were working to fix up. Paid more then I would have expected for what I got. '

'Positive: Reasonably priced. Parking was fine. The window in the back opened. Spectrum or Armstrong cable was fine. They provided single use soap. Dual access to the room; from both inside the motel hallway and an outside door. Staff very pleasant and tried to help with WiFi, but ended up not solving the issue. There was plenty of hot water. The bathroom and room were clean. Not so positive: The WiFi did not reach my room, so I had virtually no internet access. I had to go to the lobby to access...
