« We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂 »

« I had never heard of Newton, I was in town to visit Hickory. What a sweet surprise. Not only is this home clean, comfortable, and beautiful, but the town is in a revitalization upswing. From the rocking chair front porch, you are only about 1.5 miles from incredible Peruvian food, awesome art galleries, and shops. The Newton Greenway was a great place to take a great walk in nature. Hickory was less than 10 minutes away. The host was incredibly responsive and so gracious. I cannot recommend the...

« Very nice property, loved my stay. Host even left us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Only negative was there was a 1500 deposit required that wasn't mentioned anywhere (as far as I can tell) until I went to make the second payment, whoch was not a great surprise. »

« While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby. »
