'I have a thing for historic hotels and having grown up in Sioux City, the restoration of the Warrior from the decrepit fire hazard of my youth to a gem is nothing short of amazing. The Art Deco period details are spot on and my double queen room was sumptuously comfortable. I would have appreciated a selection of pillows, as mine was a giant brick in a pillowcase. The kind desk clerk told me (the next morning and too late!) that other pillows are available, so be sure to ask or bring your own!...
'Beautiful spot! Loved the amenities, and the breakfast at the restaurant was top tier. The views are gorgeous and we wished we could have stayed longer to explore the grounds.
The overnight staff could have been more proactive at prepping us for what the morning would look like. We werent given a map or anything when we arrived.
The lodge is also not pet friendly which was a bummer for us.
