'The space and area are just as described in the listing. It's about a 20-min drive to access cell service, so if the internet is down, you're back in the 90s. :) There is a land line in the house. Our stay was so peaceful and the stars are amazing at night! Highly recommend! '

'We loved the 2 room cabin.The location allowed access to Salida and Cotopaxi along with longer trips to Leadville and Canon city/Royal Gorge.We used the full kitchen daily and enjoyed the intermittent stream in the mornings. We saw a doe and 2 fawns in the yard. Clean and felt like new construction.Warm evenings which require fans to cool off. Crisp mornings we fantastic. Started off with coffee and away for local adventures. We enjoyed the fire ring for marshmallows and brats and hot dogs...

'We ate pastry from Sally’s Bakery, white water rafted with Lost Paddle Rafting, road the Royal Gorge Train, visited the Museum of Colorado Prisons, walked the Tunnel Drive Trail, worshipped with Grace Family Church, ate at Pizza Madness, visited the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. Most all of these activities were within walking distance of our lodging.'
