'If 6 stars were possible I would rate Kathi & her property 6’s across the board. Spectacular views of the night skies with no ambient light. Terrific lodging & set/up! Convenient to excellent dining, state forest trekking, fly fishing, & relaxing all in the same “package”.Planning another fall visit & trying for some nights next year already.'

'They advertise a pool and it’s out of service and been that way for a long time. When confronted about the pool just lied about it being on the website that it’s out of service. The person you get to deal with is on a kiosk not even present at the hotel. Paid almost $200 for an old hotel that needs updating. Bathroom door doesn’t close, beds are hard and full of springs. Our bath mat was soaking wet. $50 room at best. Crooks'

'I had a great trip to Viroqua and staying definitely had a hand in that. The location makes for a perfect jumping off point for day trips in the area, has plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and shops within a short drive. Wish I would have stayed longer.'

'The front desk host, Karen, was friendly and very efficient, but the hallways were very dirty and out room smelled like dog. It was also dirty. There was some kind of stain on one of the walls that looked like someone threw coffee on it; the long dressing mirror was dirty; the shower was dirty and had hair in it and looked about 10 years overdue of a remodel. We would have asked for a different room, but its was Oktoberfest, so we knew we wouldn’t have much luck. All in all I guess it was good...
