Wonderful cabin

The cabin was beyond great, and the owners were wonderful. From meeting us when we arrived to their communications with me from beginning to end , a true wonderful experience. The cabin itself was very clean, orderly and welcoming. So much more than I expected, I just can’t say enough .

Our family wanted a few days of relaxation and chill family time. We fished in the pond, played corn hole and board games. The Cabin was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend!Jenny and Rob were very accommodating.

The Cabin was above and beyond my expectations. Clean and cozy. We stayed for our granddaughters graduation. The kitchen was great to help prepare the food for the party which was at Raccoon Park minutes away. Peaceful nights at the firering laughing & making s'mores. The owners granted us the freedom of family in and outfor the entire week. Morning coffee on the front porch was the calm I needed to start my days. Having our 11 year old GSD off leash in the yard was just like being at home. Thank you Jen and family for sharing your cabin with us and our family.

Mom, dog, and Two Little Girls 3

Absolutely perfect cabin to getaway while Dad was out of town. The cabin exceeded our expectations and our three year old had the best time while I got to relax with our baby and our heeler. Everything was wonderful and we loved getting to be near the horses, geese, and nature. Huge bonus having the tractor playset on property!

Relaxing return visit

Perfect place to get away and relax. Our dog loves it. Cabin is spacious, updated and clean. Outside offered fire pit, beautiful front porch, and seating in lawn. Watching horses, cats, geese offered some entertainment. Jenny was a wonderful host. Looking forward to returning.

Peaceful Cabin!

Jen was a great host and met us at the property to get us settled in. The cabin is quaint and cute, with all the needed amenities. Loved the location and being able to explore the grounds with my doggo. I would highly recommend this beautiful home!

Repeat Visitors Notice Changes

My friend and our two dogs have visited this cabin and farm several times before Jen became the owner. We noticed some huge and subtle changes, like the newly remodeled bathroom, fireplace and nice decor. The cabin was very clean! There were also a couple of things that were missing, like a decent charcoal grill (so we went out and bought one) and standard frying pan! Jen was a great host and responded to our questions promptly. She even warned us about a potential hail storm and offered her barn as a place to park our cars! I don’t know if the cabin will be available for rent in the future but we would love to go back again. It is a great place to relax and enjoy nature, sunsets and sunrises, the horses and true peace and quiet.

Great find for our short visit to PA

What a fabulous property with a nicely updated cabin, friendly horses, comfortable bed, and great outdoor space. The only thing that was missing was a hair dryer. I will say the kitchen is not the best stocked rental I've ever been in. But it had enough to cook while we were there. I loved being close to the state park (which I would highly recommend if you love hiking and yes it is dog friendly). I would absolutely stay here again if ever in the area. Thank you for sharing your home!

A gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cabin on Living Thirst Farm! The cabin was spotless, and it had everything you needed to enjoy your time. The details were wonderful and helpful, like the fire starting kit :). The cabin was private, well-appointed, and situated in a beautiful space with ample spots outdoors to enjoy the sunshine. Communicating with the host was easy and clear. The host provided all of the information we needed. The cabin was also conveniently located to attractions in the Erie area. The Erie Bluffs State Park was less than 10 minutes away, and it was a great place to explore. Presque Isle is about 30 minutes away, and an easy drive. Raccoon Park was a small public park ~10 minutes away, but a beautiful spot to enjoy the lake at sunset. We really enjoyed this gem of a place, so close to area attractions, clean and well-appointed. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful and Serene

The cabin is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Everything was neat and clean. A bonus was the amazing artwork by the owners displayed on the walls! Outside was lovely and pleasant, on the porch and in the yard. We hope to stay here again next year.

Absolutely beautiful!

We were very impressed by this picturesque property. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the kids (and adults) enjoyed catching fireflies, roasting marshmallows, fishing in the pond, playing on the tractor playground and admiring the orchard. Only downside is the spiral staircase is not suitable if you have a crawling baby or young toddler.

Shirt vacation stay

Quiet country setting with dining and shopping nearby. Also, close to a wonderful nature walk to the bluffs of Lake Erie as well as a boating dock. And just a short drive away is the city of Erie with more dining, shopping and museums to visit.

Beautiful place and property

This place is amazing. The property was awesome to walk and fish and close to the streams we fish. The only downside was expecting three bedrooms. The third bed was simply a pull-out couch in a loft area. This did cause some discomfort for my dad staying with us.

Amazing Getaway

This cabin is amazing with exposed wood throughout. Limited cell phone reception which is great to disconnect from everyone, but has WiFi if needed. It was a great location, less than 30 minutes Presque bay. It is within 15 minutes of several hiking trails. The host was amazing and very quick to respond to any questions. The horses were awesome to watch out of the bedroom window. We will definitely be back and have recommended this place to several of our friends.
