Strandhotels in West-Nicaragua

'I don't usually write reviews but I was pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews that weren't very positive. My wife and I had a very pleasant experience. We had a bungalow and it was as expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and will return.'

'We stayed in an ocean front room with walkout terrace, the sunset view was beautiful. All the staff that works there was awesome they were so nice and tried so hard to make us happy. They went above and beyond! And then we ordered our dinner which it is all fresh! It was a 10 it was so delicious no words can explain how delicious it was! We ordered the Red Snapper it was fantastic. They were so sweet and kind, hearts of gold there! And they also have a bar that sits on the beach that we had some...

'Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While the property has a beautiful ocean view and the potential to be a great family destination, the cleanliness and pest issues made our stay very uncomfortable. There were lizards throughout the inside of the bedrooms and cockroaches inside the villa. This made it difficult to relax, especially while traveling with family. We expected the accommodations to be clean and free of pests, but that was not the case. We contacted both Expedia...

'This was our second stay here. We came back as it is the place to go if you go to San Juan Del Sur and want to relax and be away from the busy life of town AND there is a beach nearby. Has a Mama Mia vibe to it. Perhaps we were off season, but the food was not as good as our first visit. I kept being promised they would have the peanut butter chocolate bars “tomorrow”, but these delicious bars I enjoyed last time never materialized. I think next time we will try a different place.'
