'Once we were dropped off by our taxi on the street, we knew it was not a good area. The taxi guy warned us to be careful due to it being the roughest neighborhood in the area. I genuinely did not feel safe. The small alley/street we walked up to get to the entrance was lined with trash and shady characters. The halls and building smelled so strongly of smoke. 'Our stay in this hotel was superb! Our host Allan is a wonderful, helpful and informative host at hand to answer any questions regarding the island and surrounding areas. Breakfast is prompt, plentiful and delicious with a good menu to choose from. The rooms are all well appointed, superbly clean and comfortable. We will stay at this Guest House again!'

'I cannot fault anything that the owners had direct control over such as the room and facilities within the room. However, having shared bathroom facilities meant the possibility of noise at any time and also some of the guests had no respect for others including having rows and arguments at any time during the night.'

'Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. Quiet area within walking distance of the train station 10 mins max and a lovely marina across...
