Cottages in West-IJsland

'The very friendly owners of this house offer you one of the nicest places to stay in Iceland. The views are amazing in all directions! You really feel away from the busy world. The interior is new, clean and modern and very cozy. It's weird, but it looks and feels bigger on the inside than the outside might tell you from the pictures. It has all appliances you could need and (very) good WiFi. The beds are awesome, so is the Jacuzzi outside on the deck from which you have a great view on the...

'Mooie locatie. Accomodaties is netjes en ligt mooi in de natuur. De jacuzzi is een meerwaarde, lekker genieten van de omgeving. Contact met verhuurder liep erg goed.'

'Absolutely amazing stay, the staff is superb and the dinner is so good. The room itself is also super clean and well equipped with everything. The surrounding is super good. We will come back again for sure!'

'Cozy cabin indeed, makes an easy drive to end of the peninsula and back in a day.'

'In één woord geweldig!'

'We were satisfied with this stay. The kids, 6-38, stayed in the larger house and we stayed in the smaller one. We thought the smaller house was closer to the large one, but it is a little bit down the road. The only comment I will make about the smaller house is that the parking area is up from the house and the path down is very rocky. If you have any mobility issues it would be difficult to traverse. It snowed while we were there and we had to use ice cleats to go up to the car. Overall though...

'We were traveling with extended family 8 of us total. My husband I stayed in the guest cottage which was perfect. Our only problem was the shower. The water ran out of the shower into the room. The shower floor is not pitched to the drain. Luckily we were given extra towels'

'This house and the area are beautiful. We stayed here for 3 nights and two evenings we saw the northern lights from the hot tub. The house is very luxurious and everything is there (also a lot of towels). Top! The Snæfellsjökull National Park is not far and is beautiful to visit. The Golden Circle is also easy to do from here. We really enjoyed everything. The communication with the owner of the house went perfectly and everything was clearly explained. We definitely recommend this house.'

'Great location and beautiful house with all the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!'

'Toch wel leuke accommodatie. In avond uitkijk op paarden en ochtend zijn die veranderd in schapen. Iets meer ventilatie mogelijkheid. '

'Mooie ligging met uitzicht op de oceaan. Het is er heerlijk rustig en we hebben het geluk gehad dat we het noorderlicht hebben gezien. De accommodatie hoort bij een boerderij, leuk dat de geschiedenis van de boerderij in te zien was. En erg lekker het flesje melk van de eigen koeien dat klaar stond'
