'What a fantastic getaway, David's little cabin is incredible, to be honest, the photos don't do it any justice, it's such a nice cosy little spot. Sit out on the deck, and crack a cold beer or enjoy a wine with amazing views. So close to Kangaroo valley town as well. Will be back.'

'A quaint little cabin on a beautiful golf course. We loved having the roos, wombats, possums and kookaburras literally on our doorstep. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The kids enjoyed sleeping on the pull-out sofa in front of the tv! Close to loads of activities, including Kangaroo Valley town, Fitzroy Falls and the campsite where lots of wombats live!'

'The property was presented beautifully and fitted out with everything we needed. The gorgeous fire place made the rather large house warm (eventually). My only drawback was that the listing didn’t presented the property as it really is. It is not a treehouse (just a house with trees in backyard). The listing also gives the impression that it a secluded & intimate cottage with complete privacy. In reality, it is a family house with neighbours on either side. 'We had a beautiful weekend away here! The property is stunning and right in the bush. It was a little hard to find as we arrived in the dark but was worth it. The property looked like the photos and the outdoor shower was great! The kitchen is decently stocked and the bbq works great! We would love to stay again'

'We chose to have a very quiet Xmas this year. Staying for 4 nights at Heron’s Rest was peaceful calm and serene. The surroundings and scenery are beautiful with the dam taking centre stage with lotus flowers bobbing and blooming. A glass of wine on the pontoon and watching our dog get control of her ‘Pontoon legs’ was very entertaining! We had everything we needed in the accommodation. The skyscraper loaf of bread was sublime. We would definitely return. Thanks again to our hosts.'
