First and Last Stay – North Tower
This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Let me be clear: this review is only for the North Tower, but it was bad enough that I will never stay here again.
When I checked into my first room on the 10th floor Friday night, I was disgusted. The bathroom was filthy — stains in the sink and tub that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. I immediately took photos and went back to the front desk. Thankfully, John (front desk) was professional and apologetic, and quickly worked to move me to another room. He offered complimentary garage parking (useless since my car was fine on the street), but did give me breakfast vouchers as an apology.
The new room on the 12th floor looked better at first glance, but the shower drain was so slow that I ended up standing in inches of dirty water every time I showered. Absolutely disgusting — I had to rewash my feet after every shower.
As if that wasn’t enough, the elevators were painfully slow. Since I had business on the 14th floor, I tried taking the stairs. That was somehow worse — the stairwells were crawling with huge roaches. I reported it to the front desk immediately, but by the time I left Sunday, they were still there.
Between the dirty bathrooms, broken plumbing, useless elevators, and cockroach-infested stairwells, this place is completely unacceptable. The only saving grace was John at the front desk, who at least tried to make up for the hotel’s fai
