Hôtel près de Warsaw Park (La Porte)

« Nothing was unique about the property, but its consistency always meets our expectations for brief travel layovers. Staff was very good and appreciate the opportunity for breakfast on site. »

« 97 degrees outside. The A/C in my room did not work properly. Sweating all night as it would not cool my room. All I got at the front desk the next morning was, “Sorry.” Will find a different place to stay on my trip out west next summer! :( »

« L'emplacement est le principal atout de l'hôtel selon moi. Les chambres mériteraient un coup de jeunesse. Mais ce qui nous a le plus déçu c'est qu'il était indiqué dans le descriptif la présence d'une blanchisserie (en général 1 ou 2 machines à laver et même chose pour les sèches linges)...et en fait il n'y avait rien. Or nous faisions un road trip et comptions sur cette étape pour faire une lessive. Enfin le petit-déjeuner comptait des avis fabuleux, il était très banal, rien...

« This hotel is in obvious decline. I'd give it a poor review, but I had a good nights sleep, so it was comfortable enough and a budget property. It also was one block away from my worksite. »

« La toilette de ma chambre était dé-gueu-lasse. Plancher malpropre et des coulisses brunes sur les murs. Le commis à la réception quittait carrément le bâtiment et nous devions le contacter sur un cellulaire. Pour la première fois, j’ai sorti mon alarme de porte. Oui, c’est un hôtel bon marché, mais quand même… »

« Very nice place to visit, but tucked away all on its own. Rooms were nice but we were there during a heat wave and room was hotter than the hallway. After trying to cool it down they moved us across the hallway where the AC worked great (why didn't we start there?). Staff was super helpful with the relocate. Restaurant was nice and has a tiny bar area. Walking trail is nothing more than a mowed loop around the property. Rooms were nice and dinner was nice. »

« We were assigned Room 101. Unfortunately, it was not clean. We found several cigarette butts under the bed, which was especially concerning since we were traveling with our toddler. We had expected a clean, non-smoking room. On a positive note, the management was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. »

« We returned from supper and front desk clerk did not even look up from her phone. A yellow bucket, full of dirty mop, water and a dirty mop was right at the front desk Our Shower had mildew growing along the edge Breakfast buffet might’ve been OK if it had been refilled. We asked if there were any more boiled eggs and we received a sigh and the attendant went back to get some more. »

« From the moment we checked in, every employee we encountered was very friendly and willing to help! Our room was clean, and housekeeping kept everything well-stocked. The only area I would suggest for improvement would be to expand the variety of options offered for breakfast. Granted, it was free and I shouldn't complain, but offering some sweet options (pastries, donuts) as well as a few more warm foods would go a long way! »
