'Breakfast is terrible.Table and chairs are dirty. Food is cold, not even lukewarm. Food sitting there at room temperature for hours. Hotel room is ok except some annoying cigarette odour from air conditioning occasionally at night . Have to turn off the air con to avoid the smell. Individual hotel staff is not friendly and helpful. When I checked out, I used credit card to pay. Somehow they have problem with the machine and I have no choice but to pay with WeChat. When I came home and check...

'Very convenient location and excellent breakfast. The room is very clean and staffs are very friendly. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time when we go to Shanghai. We highly recommend this hotel.'

'Grand hotel with good facilities and perfect location to explore Shanghai. A former Hilton hotel where Clinton stayed in the past I was told. Although older, the hotel is comfortable and the spa area is very nice. Close to French district, Jing'An temple and subway station. Good affordable choice for luxury hotel with great service.'

'Hotel is overpriced, a bit dated, old carpet with stains…. Rooms are very small due to the nature of the building. Worst of all was the michelin star restaurant that served a 1000$ meal with undercooked fish and only thing was an apology and free desert to compensate for 3 fishes completely undercooked. Rest of our stay we dined outside and is not worth any michelin star. Breakfast is very nice however.'

'I came to Shanghai wanting to see real Chinese history, and the host recommended the East Wing of the Shanghai Museum, easy to reach by metro. The bronze gallery stunned me: three-thousand-year-old pieces so well preserved, and I stayed there a whole day. Back at the apartment, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. Dining in Xujiahui is convenient. The host speaks very good English, replies fast, and the museum recommendation proved right.'

'Mooi hotel met prachtige tuin, behulpzaam personeel, upgrade gekregen gezien babybed niet beschikbaar was.'

'Room was spacious and clean. It started raining while we were there. This created a lot of noise from the rain hitting a metal plate along the edge of the window, Rattling noise all night. Staff was also not very good with english so communication was challenging. Free laundry was nice. Breakfast included was good.'

'5/5 for cleanliness, staff and convenience !'

'Good location, amenities, thoughtful service. '

'You will not regret staying here.'
