Perfectly comfortable with excellent personnel
From the moment you enter the hotel you feel welcome and important. You get a visit of your room with the Receptionnist. She explains everything: the excellent breakfast included, the spa, the roof top pool and bar. The junior suite has a great whirlpool, large bed and a splendid sea view. Quiet room for a good night sleep. Not far from the center. Excellent restaurants around notably the Yacht restaurant.

Superbe établissement, proche de la mer. Les alentours sont un peu à améliorer (efforts de propreté à faire par la ville). Rien à dire quant à l’hôtel en lui-même : bonnes prestations, accueil et service au top, chambre bien équipées et propres.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, generell habe ich auch selten ein Hotel gesehen, das sauberer war. Derzeit sind rundherum einige Baustellen, da sich die Regionen auf größeren Touristenandrang vorbereitet, diese dürften aber bald fertiggestellt sein. Die Strandpromenade mit vielen Restaurants und Bars ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Rundherum waren 3 kleine Supermärkte.

Ames Hotel was very nice. The checkin was pleasant and the staff were all very helpful. Our room was clean & comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again.

El mejor hotel que hemos podido elegir en Vlorë
El hotel nos ha encantado. La habitación tenía toda las comodidades y una terraza enorme. El desayuno muy variado y lo mejor la piscina que tenía en la azotea, desde donde el atardecer es todo un espectáculo

One of the main reason we booked this hotel was to use the rooftop swimming pool. When we arrived we we we’re shocked to see the state of the pool….or should I say duck pond. The external glass had thick algae growing on it obscuring the view and the bottom of the pool was not visible as the water was that dirty. The rest of the property was reflective of this lack of attention to detail, in the room, bar/restaurant and service. I recommend staying elsewhere for the price they are charging for this property!

Sehr saubere und modernes Hotel. Sehr schmales aber kompaktes Gebäude. Personal ist freundlich. Zimmer sehr gepflegt und in gutem Zustand. Frühstück war auch gut aber man muss sich nur mit einer Tasse Kaffe oder Tee zufrieden geben. Möchte man einen zweiten, muss man zahlen. Auch das Dampfbad wird wohl nicht gerne eingeschaltet. Man muss sich mit der Sauna begnügen. Liegestühle oder wenigstens Stühle wären angebracht im Spa-Bereich. Gibt es aber nicht. Aber das sind die einzigen Kritikpunkte. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Great price, very clean, short walk to the beach and lots of lovely eating/drinking facilities. Great balcony, free parking out the front, -pool isn't heated, very cold, service in morning breakfast very hit and miss depending on who is working. To see the sea view you must look over a road and a building site, sauna etc only available 5-10 in the basement.

Die Unterkunft liegt in der zweiten Reihe doch der Weg zum Strand und Promenade ist nicht weit. Das Hotel hat eigene Liegen, einfach beim Check In nachfragen. Der Meerblick wird leider in den nächsten Jahren verbaut. Das Frühstück war auf einem sehr gutem Niveau. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.

Hidden gem
Great small little hotel. Great service, one example; they follow you up to your room, shows you around, gives info about the place, and offer a free Turkish bath. Only downside is minor things like the housekeeping forgot to stock toiletpaper in our room and therefore we had to get it from the reception. Same goes for towels - they removed the old onces, but forgot to restock. No big issue though. Breakfast is good, sure not like a Merriot, Four Seasons etc, but for its size good with plenty of selections. There is a nice vibe to the hotel. The hotel is way above the average in Albania, and good value for money. Awesome infinity rooftop pool, fair prices in the rooftop bar.

Fantastic hotel
What a fantastic place. The room was simply stunning and so comfortable- I almost didn’t want to get out of bed. The staff were so helpful finding me a driver to explore the wonderful region around Vlore. Only downside was breakfast- would have liked a choice.

Nice 4 stars hotel but something should be improve
Very beautiful modern design but not practical. We enjoyed our stay at Ames Hotel, it is new and clean. The staffs are mostly friendly but their English should be improved. The hotel is in central location, only 5 minutes on foot to the beach and the restaurants. The hotel itself has good design, we stayed comfortably especially very good mattress and pillows. It is better if they can provide thin blanket too even in summer time because if we turn the air conditioner on, it is quite cold at night. Some other stuff should be improved as well, they are: there is no rack to place our personal belongings in the bathroom so we have to place our lotion in the room instead. There is no soap plate for hand soap. The toilet paper rack is way to far from the toilet especially for a short person or kid to reach out. The housekeeping doesn’t put new shampoo/shower gel/conditioner everyday. The breakfast is very cold; only normal black coffee is included. Other than that like Espresso, Cappuccino or hot chocolate cost extra. The buffet area is small, lack of choices. They provide beach towel (you need to ask at the reception) which is good. The rooftop bar and swimming pool is nice. If you could book the room with sea view I would recommend you to book. The mountain view is also okay but you can’t walk naked in the room with the opened curtain. In general, we enjoyed the stay at Ames Hotel.

Think boutique.
This place is so pleasant and welcoming. They are small and flexible and yet have so many amenities. We we were greeted and escorted up to our room. The pool on the roof was perfect. The breakfast buffet was delightful and we had such a relaxing stay.
