'We have returned to the Uprising after 6 years. The staff are still genuinely lovely and the place still looks beautiful But at a closer look, I’d say it needs some TLC. In our villa, half the light bulbs didn’t work. The outdoor shower crusted with build up. The sliding door handle falling off. We had a wonderful Lovo traditional evening with live show. All in all still a good, affordable option in Pacific Harbor'

'It's a good place for your first night of last night before you go to the islands. Don't spend too long here. The beach is dirty and the sea too. Don't expect a white beach and blue water. The food is expensive, just go to Bamboo at the end of the road to get lunch and dinner, much cheaper and better. It's a good place for just one night as it's close to the airport. Also try the local bus!'

'Beautifull view of the beach and the sea from the bure/room. Also a great view from the bar. The area of the resort looks good and are good maintained. The room is very clean and tidy. There is only WIFI available in the mainbuilding, not in the bure/room. You got to pay for the WIFI. The food tast good, only the beverages are to expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.'

'Location leaves something to be desired with the proximity of the runway and the volume of the jets taking off. We booked two of the dorm style rooms. We did find bed bugs in one of the four beds. The shared bathroom facilities were very clean and the shower, while lacking places to hang clothing, was of very good quality.
