We booked this venue back in February 2023 after viewing the online pictures and reading the FOUR "5 star" reviews from previous bookers, As this was the only vacation we were taking this year as a family, we chose a location and residence that we felt would afford us the opportunity to make lasting memories. Upon arriving at the location, we found dirty sheets on the bed in the master bedroom, bugs under the pillow of another bedroom and sand on the floor through the penthouse. We alerted the management company of these issues and were assured that they would contact the cleaners and handle this matter promptly. However, not only did the cleaners NEVER arrive throughout our stay, but our numerous texts and outreach to Ryan from the management firm was met with silence and automated responses. We ended up washing the sheets on all the beds ourselves, sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathrooms. To further mar the memories of our visit, we discovered that the couch in the livingroom was dirty and tearing apart at the seams, the outdoor patio areas was covered in cobwebs, the lamps and furniture in various rooms were broken and the overall state of the apartment was one of disrepair and unsanitary conditions. The first tenet of exceptional customer service is "treat your customer like gold"; a statement which is the antithesis to how we were treated during our stay. It would behoove this venue's management to remember that customer perception is THEIR reality.
