The apartment was not that clean - sand on the floors, crumbs in the kitchen drawers. The floors needed to be mopped, we all had dirty feet.
The management company, vacasa was awful. Their check in process was ridiculous. We arrived 20 min early and we were told (like others) to wait outside and someone would give us instructions. 15 min later…The instructions were to get in line to pick up the keys.
Vacasa’s policy is to provide each person with 1 bath towel - nothing extra despite asking. Communication was via txt only. The kitchen was stocked ok - lots of dishes and glasses but basics I guess are cleaned out by the cleaning company?
We had nothing extra - 1 garbage bag in the garbage can. 1 roll of toilet paper per bath. 1 paper towel roll. No coffee filters (usu left by other guests). I don’t expect to have enough for the week but usually it’s a couple of things left behind. In which we usually leave things behind as well but not in this case.
The beds were ok except the double in the bunk bed room - springs and coils galore. The furniture was in good shape.
We rent 2-3x year in different locations. I’ll make sure I never need to work with Vacasa again.
I hope the owners of the condo read this and switch management companies. Location is great, grounds are well maintained.
