## Emplacement
Villanova is surrounded by the municipalities of Alata and Ajaccio. Very close to the city center of the latter, the town has become a «suburb» of Ajaccio. The habitat is grouped in the village of Villanova and four hamlets San Fedele, Poggio, Scaglioli and on the seafront (southern shore of the Gulf of Lava) I Costi di Villanova and Capo di Feno which houses one of the most beautiful beaches in the Ajaccio country. The town is bathed by the Prunelli.
