'This was such a treat for my little family. Located way up high in the mountains and deer everywhere. Super cozy and clean!!! Loved being able to have a fire for smores. Gary was super responsive. Quite a gem!!! '

'Great location convenient to Boone and area attractions. We were able to quickly get to local trails. Relaxing location with deck; it was just one family but could have easily hosted two. Has a cozy fireplace and sitting area. Bathrooms look new and are spacious. Enjoyed lunch at the billiards hall nearby too and driving by the horses!'

'We booked this house for our party of 12 including adults, teenagers, and young children. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful decor, serene location, proximity to activities, and included amenities. The kids loved the arcade game and pool table while the adults were grateful for the well stocked kitchen. When several problems popped up (electrical upstairs and missing bedding for the rollaway bed,) the call center arranged for a quick response. Deer were spotted around the cabin and the fire pits...

'My wife, dog and I spent three nights at this wonderful home in late July in order to escape the stifling heat in Raleigh. It more than met our expectations. The home was well maintained, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished with many solid wood pieces of furniture. The kitchen had granite countertops and was loaded with appliances. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch with my wife. '

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
