'Lovely accommodation, nice clean room. Great comfy bed. Small gym with a couple of treadmills. Would definitely stay again.'

'Beautiful property but the whole building is uneven, floors have big dips in them, the stairs are on a slant and so is the landing so quite dangerous for anyone with balance problems. No washing machine either!'

'Modern uitziende bar met erg vriendelijk personeel. Op donderdagavond was het er erg rustig, maar zoals gezegd; atmosfeer was prima'

'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'Very basic breakfast, convenient location, good when you need to stay somewhere just to sleep.'

'We hebben verschillende hotels geprobeerd maar komen toch steeds hier weer terug. Het hotel ligt voor ons zeer centraal en makkelijk langs de M1, de service en vriendelijkheid is optimaal, het ontbijt geweldig en mocht er toch iets niet goed zijn wordt het meteen verholpen.'

'zeer aangenaam. rustige omgeving, veel ruimte, veel groen.'

'The hotel is easily reached by bus from either Derby or Nottingham. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the area, it's probably best to have your own car. In spite of its proximity to M1, the hotel is set in a quiet and pleasant location. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful: one of them was on the same bus as us when we arrived, and kindly walked us from the bus stop to the hotel. 'Salt suite was geweldig. Ziet er heel mooi uit! Bad in de main bedroom en sauna in de badkamer.'

'Although many stars given by me, my all in all result is 3 stars because of the all day long (24/7) heavily humming noise I heard in my room. Luckily I had a couple of earbuds with me that I was going to use during a pop concert, so I didn't hear the noise during my sleep. My room was a single person room, number 31. So if you get that one offerred, immediatly ask for another room.'

'Facilities in hotel and room as expected for a hotel. Has a somewhat tired look about the building dreaming of former glory. For some of the staff they gave the impression thast they were in employment but not within the hotel trade.'

'Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property'

'Comfortabel, schoon slaapkamers. Vriendelijk en bekwaam medewerkers. Enige minpunt is dat de hotel bar vroeg dicht gaat, 22:00 zondag t/m vrijdag en 21:00 zaterdag.'

'No complaints. Reception staff very helpful'
