Several significant issues during our stay detracted from our experience.
We experienced several significant issues during our stay that detracted from our experience, primarily due to maintenance failures and management's response.Maintenance Issues and Management DisconnectThe hall shower leaked persistently because the door wouldn't seal properly, leading to a flooded bathroom. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manager, Vimbai, communication was challenging, and subsequent repair attempts were ineffective. Vimbai's overall demeanor since check-in was concerning; she appeared indifferent to our concerns, even attempting to move us to a different apartment the day before our scheduled checkout. Her unavailability on our final day and apparent unawareness of our departure date were particularly surprising and frustrating.Safety Concerns1) A hallway chair completely broke apart when a friend sat on it on the second day of our stay. This incident nearly resulted in injury and indicates a lack of proper inspection of furniture provided for guest use. (Please see attached photo.)2) The master bathroom tub was not securely attached to the floor, causing it to nearly tip over when sat on. This also presents a significant safety hazard. (Please see attached photo.)3) There were no smoke detectors in any room.These issues suggest a need for more thorough safety checks and preventative maintenance to ensure future guest well-being.
