📚The Norwegian language (Norwegian: Norsk), is a North Germanic language of the West Scandinavian branch. Along with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a dialect continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional varieties, and some Norwegian and Swedish dialects, in particular, are very close. Educational problems due to the linguistic distance between Danish and spoken Norwegian and also to sociopolitical matters, stimulated a search🔎 for a national standard language. Ivar Aasen, a self-taught linguist📚, constructed in 1853 a language norm primarily from the dialects of the western and central rural districts. This standard continued the Old Norwegian tradition and was meant to replace Danish, he called it Landsmål, but now it is officially known as Nynorsk. He presented the New Norwegian norm in a grammar, a dictionary and numerous literary texts📚. Finally, in 1885 the New Norwegian was officially recognised as a second national language.
 👉Today, all Norwegians learn to read and write New Norwegian, but only about 20 percent use it as primary written language✍🏻.

'The apartment and its terrace has fantastic views of the fjord, but since it is located in the basement, it is badly ventilated and has a particular smell. 'The host was very responsive to any and all questions I had. The apartment was cold when I first arrived and took a while for the heaters to bring it up to a comfortable cozy temperature, but once there quite comfortable. The train and bus stations are very close by for my arrival and departure from Bergen. I walked everywhere from the apartment and there were shops nearby to get some supplies for meals. It is a very quiet location and I would definitely stay here again. it is the top floor so...

'The location is great but is up a steep hill or many steps. The street is beautiful, as is the neighbourhood and the bed is comfortable. I’m sure the accommodation was perfect when it was set up but now I think it needs a bit of a retouch as it’s a bit dated. Cleanliness: not ideal. When we arrived there was old food left in the fridge, food stains on the wall and old food left on the scrubbing brush. Furniture: the aim is clearly for a cozy feel but the organisation could be vastly improved....

"De kamer werd omschreven als comfort, maar dit zou eerder basic genoemd moeten worden. De bedden waren helaas erg slecht: er was nauwelijks ondersteuning en je zakte er diep in weg, wat het slapen onaangenaam maakte. Op de kamer was geen mogelijkheid om thee of koffie te maken, en voor vrijwel alles moest extra worden betaald. Zelfs eerder inchecken was mogelijk, maar daar werd 200 NOK extra voor gerekend. Het ontbijt vormde een positieve uitzondering: dit was goed verzorgd en van prima kwaliteit."
