The Visfestival is always held on the last weekend in July (week 28) at Stegeholm Castle Ruins and offers many great musical experiences. Bring a picnic basket or buy food on site. Västervik is also known for the 5000 islands close to the city, and you can visit the larger islands on one of the archipelago boats.
