kindvriendelijke hotel
Dit hotel is zeer geschikt voor gezinnen. Vriendelijke hotelpersoneel die klaar staan voor de gasten. De kinderen kunnen zich goed vermaken in het zwembad/kinderzwembad. Verder is er op loopafstand een overdekte centrum (JHV Mall) waar er gewinkeld kan worden, bioscoop en er is een Mac Donald. In het hotel is er ook de mogelijkheid om euro in roepie te wisselen. Er zijn ook faciliteiten voor volwassenen (sauna, tennissen, yoga, etc). Het eten was heerlijk. Je kunt gebruik maken van het restaurant van het hotel (ontbijt en buffet) en er is ook een Indiase restaurant in het hotel dat tot 0.00 uur open is. Voorts is er mogelijkheid om in de aangename lounge te wachten. Een hotel dat wij zeker aan ieder willen aanbevelen.

A nice hotel and staff are polite helpful and professional. Breakfast provided was the best I ever come across. Very authentic Indian foods were served along with typical western foods. Clean overall though at times you may have to wait a bit to get the hot water coming.

I stayed at this property starting May 9th to May 12th. The trip started off well and then turned into a nightmare on May 11th. The Hotel AC was out for the majority of the day in the blistering heat and the hotel staff were unresponsive to the situation. Despite several attempts to reach upper management to request a refund for one night's stay, no communication has been received from the hotel. There are better alternatives around in the cantonment area. I booked this hotel based on the suggestion of a family relative and I should have looked for alternatives.

Hotel lovely and clean Room big but a little dated - old shower curtain & cracked bath. We dined in ‘Tadka’ their ‘specialist Indian restaurant’ and had a disastrous meal. We ordered lamb Vindaloo and after 20 minutes were instead served lamb with a creamy coconut sauce. I questioned this, and the chef told the waiter that he’d instead given us a mild vindaloo because we were western and would prefer it. I didn’t believe this explanation and I suspect they were perhaps just using up leftovers because this wasn’t a ‘mild vindaloo’ but instead a completely different curry (cream/coconut base). Perhaps they thought we might not know the difference. The waiting staff were apologetic and agreed that this wasn’t what we’d ordered and said they’d bring us a replacement instead. We had to wait another 20 minutes and when it arrived, it was closer resembling a vindaloo but this time there was hardly any meat and mainly just bones. (I didn’t even have one piece of meat!) Very disappointing! I’m not one for complaining normally (don’t like the confrontation and awkwardness) but this was far from what you’d expect in a 5* hotel restaurant. The restaurant manager was understanding - we could actually see them berating the chefs (a drawback of the kitchen window) making it a bit uncomfortable for everyone. They gave us complimentary desserts so I suppose the service was good. Aside from the restaurant the rest of our stay was very comfortable. Pool large & clean, service there excellent

It is a very nice hotel with large rooms. Rooms are clean and generally well maintained. It has three restaurants we dined in two restaurants that offered Indian food choice. Both were excellent. Staff is polite and willing to help. Property is bit old. Bathrooms are nice but water flow in sink is very strong and shower curtains too long.

This trip had 6 destinations and the this accommodation was the worst of all of them with that price range Very poorly maintained bathrooms, constant reminder of needing things i.e. toilet paper etc. Not very good the price…

The property was very good in cleanliness and location. However they had construction on the 2nd floor throughout the day with loud banging which they did not inform us on arrival. They also were banging late at night around 11,30 PM on November 17th and we had to call repeatedly to stop it. They were supposed to stop at 6.00 PM during the day and did not on November 19th. Again on November 19th night they had this plastering going on all night and music being played and we had to call repeatedly to stop it. We could not sleep. They lied that it was the UPS in the closet that made the noise. The room rent was quite high and for that we had to suffer the construction noise. The reception desk should have a record of out calls from room 4101. We expect better service and treatment from a hotel of Wyndham chain.

Nice hotel, fantastic having a pool
Great hotel, it lacks character and is not a luxury hotel but it has all the things you would need and is well located out of the hectic city centre yet within easy reach of it. We loved the pool area and the breakfast was nice. Would recommend for anyone visiting Varanasi, I think having the pool really makes it!

I am not sure why Expedia classifies this as a 5 star hotel. The room was extremely old and worn out. All I can say is that this hotel room was in poor condition for a 5 star property. The hotel lobby and restaurants were in very good condition, but the rooms felt like 2 star to me.

Malas instalaciones pero personal muy amable
Mantenimiento del hotel terrible, charcos de agua en los pasillos, humedad en muchas áreas, pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación y lo hicieron, goteras en habitación y pasillos, humedad, sábanas viejas e incómodas con nudos que pedimos las cambiaran y lo hicieron. Un colchón con un muelle que se salía de la sábana. Muchos problemas con la conexión a internet. Por otro lado personal muy bueno, el trato excelente. camareros, personal del restaurant y recepción y todo el personal de apoyo son el bien más valioso de este hotel. No merece categoría 5 estrellas, el costo es muy alto por el deterioro de las instalaciones

Front desk staff was very rude and reckless. We booked for 3 beds but they didnot even care to provide 3rd bed. Some repair work was going on in the hotel and they provided the room just adjacent to that. It was so noisy and disturbing till evening 6pm. We travelled from USA, long hours flight, jetlag and this is the hospitality we got. We have stayed a lot in Wyndham hotels in USA but never experienced this. We should have gone with the reviews- many wrote about front desk rude behavior and carelessness. Sorry to say that the Wyndham is lossing the good name because of these.

Very old hotel ... lots of overpainting and caulk. Even the sinks had been painted to hide the rust. Air Conditioning marginal. On top of that, they over-charged me by not refunding the deposit. Wouldn't stay here again.
