Blue Heron Guest House on Lake Harding Hot Tub & Kayaks

The Blue Heron Guest House is our 2 bdr/1 ba 710 sq ft modern designed guest house that sits on our 4.5 acres lake front property with 650 feet o water frontage. Ideal for a family of up to 4 or 2 couples for a retreat. This guesthouse is close to everything, 30-35 minutes to Ft Benning/Columbus, pine MTN/Calloway Gardens & Auburn/Opelika. Private Hot tub, fire pit and hammock. Free access to the shared boat ramp, multiple piers, beach area, chairs/loungers, kayaks, fishing gear and more. You just need your Alabama or Georgia fishing license. Only the specific guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises without prior approval from the host.

We have lovingly named our 4.5 acres the Herons Nest. On the property we have the main house on the water in which we live. Additionally, there is a guesthouse (Blue Heron) and cottage (Green Heron) that are both Short-term Rentals that can be rented separately or together but are spaced out enough that you have your own space and privacy. Both places have their own individual fire pits, hammocks, patios and share the pier, beach, and boat ramp located in front of the main house. The boathouse on the water is for the owner's use only, please don't go on the boathouse.

Additionally, the hosts live on the property and respects our guest's privacy, but we will be sure to say hi if we see you out and about in the shared areas.

LIABILITY WAIVER
You understand that fishing, swimming, jumping from any platforms or structures, fire pit, or kayaks is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with any of these activities. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from these activities, and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that these activities present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as to individuals with health risks. You also accept all risk from engaging in these activities while on drugs, alcohol, pregnant or using medication. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from any of these activities but not limited to those listed above. All VRBO guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between VRBO Guests and VRBO Host.
