'Dingle is the perfect walkable little town. I’ve stayed just out of town but it is less convenient. I’ve also stayed at a hotel right in town but it was noisy. This was perfect because you could easily walk but a little quieter.'

'The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

'Accuracy of on-line listing is a little misleading - it was better than we could have imagined or understand from the description. We stayed three nights of our ten day vacation but could have easily stayed all ten in this spot. All the little details were taken care of such as towels and even a loaf of fresh baked Irish bread and butter awaited us! My daughters (in their twenties) loved, loved, loved the location and the place!!'

'We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. 'Mooi ongericht praktisch nieuw huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. 2 slaapkamers met tweepersoonsbed en ieder een eigen badkamer. Nog 2 slaapplekken op vide, maar geen stahoogte (dus minder geschikt voor volwassenen). Compleet uitgeruste keuken met vaatwasser, oven en Nespresso machine. Flatscreen T V. Huis ligt wel afgelegen, 30 min rijden naar dichtstbijzijnde dorp. Wel centraal in Ring van Kerry met veel te zien en te doen in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader!'

Beach near the property was lovely (need to go over slippy rocky pathway to access but kids and adults could do so). Views from house were mountains, green fields and farm animals, very peaceful. 'We loved the cozy space and all of the artistic touches. The communication with Rosie the house manager was excellent. It is an ideal location if you’re looking for some quietude but, easy access to Dingle center. We enjoyed walking the beach which was a 5 minute walk from the house. Highly recommend Sleepy Shell!'

'Het was heel fijn en er waren voldoende spullen aanwezig. Het was alleen wat ver van de supermarkt, andere winkels en van een pub of restaurant. Ook was het niet duidelijk dat we van de eigenaresse nog een nota kregen voor de electriciteit.'

The pods for washing machine were great as we had to do a washing for baby. A lovely bowl of fruit and food in fridge were very welcome. The family were very helpful and friendly and we had a very special wedding weekend in dingle.'

'Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Wir waren 3 befreundete Paare, die gerne kochen und genießen und dafür war die große, gut ausgestattete Küche sowie das Esszimmer mit dem traumhaften Ausblick wie geschaffen. Check in war problemlos, Luba hat uns alles erklärt. Bei der Abreise konnten wir den Schlüssel in die Schlüsselbox legen. Schlafzimmer waren alle sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Duschbäder waren ebenfalls in einer guten Größe, nur der Wasserdruck der Dusche hätte etwas stärker...
