'This was a lovely little cottage on a shared property in a remote wooded area. The amenities (pool, fireplace, and trampoline) were great hits with my kids and the setting in the woods was stunning. The hosts were exceedingly gracious and kind. That said just note that the property is shared so you are utilizing the grounds of the host. '

'Very quaint property. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen has more than enough supplies needed to live for a week! Dining room has a perfect view of the lake! The propane grill was nice to cook a burger a dog on which is all we needed! One of the best things we loved was the fire pit which looks out over the lake. We spent every night there with a fire and enjoyed watching the sunset!! We will be back!'

The owner is very accommodating to your needs whether you are looking for something in the kitchen— blender, coffee maker, pancake mix, popcorn, or looking to enjoy being outside with three seating areas, a grill, a firepit, outdoor lighting and even kayaks. 'My husband, dog, and I had a great time at the house. The house was spotless and everything was very well thought out. We appreciated the lovely snacks that were left for us as well as the special touches like the basket of items that were there if we had forgotten something like a device charger. Jeffersonville is just a few minutes away and has a nice mix of stores and restaurants. Saundra was lovely to deal with and was very helpful with suggestions or anything else we needed. I would...

'We spent a long weekend at the home for a girl's weekend spa visit and relaxation. The home was easy to navigate with everything easy to find (with lots of labels)! The pool/hot tub was wonderful on the one sunny day we had. The fireplace was cozy on the rainy days. Great place for a visit!'

'This cottage is very clean with a wonderful smell upon entry. The retro decor is amazing! Very cozy and serene atmosphere. The Scavenger Hunt was a lot of fun too. We came up for the Bonnie Raitt concert, stayed 2 days. We should have stayed longer! We definitely will return. Thanks so much Jen!'

' Prima huis om te overnachten op doorreis. Het ligt aan het meer. Als je van watersport houdt is het perfect. Het huis was prima, maar niet perfect schoon. Op de bovenverdieping lagen donkere haren, dat was jammer. Qua onderhoud stond het balkon op instorten, daar mag wel wat aan gedaan worden. '

'I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. '

"Terrible place to stay, hallways dirty, boxes and other rubish was scattered troughout the hotel. Firealarm was beeping loud in the room, and was hanging from the wall. The room smelled horrible. Went down to check-in and got another room. Smelled a little better but stuff was dirty, dust everywhere. Only superficial cleaning done. This was the only somewhat affordable hotel around but you better drive those extra 25 miles! Never again. "
