'The first thing I noticed as I entered, the hotel was how clean it appeared. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Upon entering my room, I noticed that it appeared very clean. 'Many pros and cons- Pros- located directly across the street from Penn State with restaurants downstairs and all around the property. Bathroom was very nice with a great shower and even a bidet. This is a great room for couples. Cons- there is no elevator and the rooms are on the 3rd floor, so not great to have heavy suitcases. Also the only parking is a garage 1 1/2 blocks away. 'I will start with what we didn’t like, but it did not matter. The outside is not attractive. The kitchen and family area are quite small, which made it a little tight when we were all together at the house. The house is extremely clean and furniture was in good condition. There was ample hot water for a nice shower. Everyone was comfortable with the beds. There was a good parking area. The location is great for Penn State activities, shopping, and restaurants. 'While not the worst Best Western we've ever stayed at, it was simply meh. This hotel looked like it had just undergone an exterior painting and sprucing up. The interior was relatively clean and looked like it had been updated within the last few years, wood like plank tile flooring, etc. The breakfast and breakfast area leave something to be desired. It's been a while since we have stayed at a Best Western and the breakfast was not up to snuff. We did not stay long enough to give this...
