We had a wonderfully relaxing week at this charming cottage. The location is perfect; just a short walk to the Lions Park and Burrill Beach, and the fantastic bakery and fish shop. The cottage has everything you need, Nespresso coffee machine, Weber BBQ, fishing gear if you need it and much more. Our fur baby loved the backyard and relished the chance to run at the nearby off-leash beaches. The host Kevin was fantastic; very responsive with answers to questions and he provided a very comprehensive overview of the local area and must-see sights. I would stay here again in a heartbeat; it’s one of the best holiday properties we’ve stayed in.

The cottage is gorgeous and everything you need is there, lots of kitchen gear, staples such as tea, coffee, sugar, basic cooking supplies and more. Relaxing and quiet lakeside getaway

Kevin (the host) was very helpful and shared lots of tips and recommendations (both for activities, and dining) prior to the trip. The place was very tidy and the photos in the website were accurate and descriptions were spot on so it helped set the expectation for our stay. We had such a lovely time and the check-in/out process was very smooth. Our little dog loved the backyard to run around in. We will surely be back!

Charming cottage just perfect for a relaxing getaway

The cottage is very well equipped and so clean with a great kitchen, bathroom and laundry and fireplace in the lounge room. The location couldn’t be better, close to shops, lake and beach with a lovely enclosed garden backyard perfect for dogs and their owners. Wonderful to sit on the verandah and relax. The host goes out of his way to keep you informed and provides you with all the local recommendations and info to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A true Super Host. Comfortable and cosy, beautiful gardens, lovely deck outside to sit in the sun a with a cuppa and a book. Quiet area, but close enough to everything if you want to go out. Lots of beautiful local walks, birdlife, easy access to fishing. Pop over the bridge to a handy supermarket, or walk down the road for a coffee at the local bakery. The host, Kevin, does everything possible to ensure your stay is a truly enjoyable holiday! We will be going back as soon as possible!

Lake Burrill trip

Lovely property with character, well appointed, cosy, perfect for pets with secure back yard. Bakery goods and a handwritten note were a nice touch. The girls swam at Burrill Lake inlet most days with the dog, the boys surfed at Burrill beach, just a short walk away, perfect! Communication with Kevin was excellent, he couldn’t do enough to help, including a late check out which meant we could go for one last swim. Highly recommend!
