Lots of things to see and do here - the Shrine is small but exquisite, street entertainers, flea market, foot stalls. Didn't have time to visit the museums and galleries unfortunately but had lunch outside Starbucks where they had heaters and enjoyed people watching

There are many sightseeing spots around Ueno, Ueno park, zoo, museum, temple and Ameyoko market etc.

Definitely one of the best locations everyone who loves nature, exercise should visit. Also, there was a Starbucks too! :)

Fantastic! There is so much to see and do, I didn't have time for everything. The shrine is huge. The park is fantastic. The museums and art galleries are impressive. Everything is very reasonably priced. As soon as you come out of the station, cross the road and turn right, and you'll see everything sign-posted (on the ground). The art gallery is a couple of minutes walk away and really well worth a visit. After that, just follow the path to another gallery, science museum, natural history museum (there's a big metal whale outside that is probably life size).

Nice park for visiting. There are many exciting places inside such as zoo, Art musium and Sci. Musium.
