Romantic Cosy Studio Cottage with Hot Tub

  • This peaceful self-contained studio cottage has a king sized bed and fully equipped kitchen, including fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave and washer/drier, making it ideal as a little bolt hole for couples looking to get away.

    This charming detached cottage is located in a rural countryside location within our gated complex (5 cottages in total), with a small fenced private patio area (minimum fence height of 4 foot). It is next door to our woodland and orchard. With off road parking for up to 2 vehicles and access to our shared EV charger.
    The cottage is a bungalow, however there are 2 steps to access the cottage.
    Dog friendly accommodation (no charge for up to 2 dogs) – more welcome by negotiation.

Amazing

We honestly had the best time. The cottage was gleaming and the grounds were beautiful around the cottage. Our cocker and pug loved it They honestly couldn't do enough for us and Rebecca was an absolute gem. Thank you for our stay.

Incredible private secluded collection of properties. The Hide was beautifully clean, well appointed and check in was simple. Perfect for a couple seeking a get away. Dogs made welcome and secure.

Stunning Place

We stayed here for a week absolutely just what we wanted total relaxation can’t fault a thing the hide is clean comfortable and well equipped the garden is stunning we spent days out locally lots of beaches close by lovely village pub afternoon/evening’s spent relaxing in the hot tub admiring the beautiful flowers and shrubs will definitely be booking highly recommend these cottages

The Hide

It's the perfect hideaway whilst being convenient for visiting the surrounding area. The hot tub is fabulous for relaxing after a hard day at the beach or the shops. Well maintained property and the hosts cannot do enough to make your stay pleasurable. A good time was had by all.

An excellent place to stay.

We (me and Elmer, my dog) had an enjoyable stay in the Hide. The self-contained cottage was fully equipped and we lacked for nothing. The enclosed garden, together with the adjoining wood and shared garden, allowed Elmer to stretch his legs without going offsite.I All-in-all, an excellent place to stay.

Fab base!

What a great stay we had. The Hide is cosy and comfortable and a fab base for reaching some the great beaches that Cornwall has to offer. Everything has been carefully thought about and all the little touches, including the welcome cream tea were very much appreciated. The hot tub was blissful after a day of exploring. We will return….thoroughly recommend!

Great for a short break close to the coast

This was an ideal location for us to relax yet get to Perranporth beach easily. We had a short stay and Rebecca was a excellent host and on hand if necessary although very little needed. The garden was a delight for our little dog to have a good run around in a safe environment. Hot tub an added pleasure although a little hot at times! Dog friendly beach within 10 minute drive was great. Definitely recommended for a couple and a dog.

Perfect little getaway

Everything perfect. Choose the Hide if you want to be away from the hustle & bustle/crowds its quiet, tranquil and relaxing. Immaculately clean with very comfy bed, super shower & everything you could need. Liked the thoughtful little essentials also provided like kitchen roll etc & the hot tub was just fabulous. Suggest bringing foodstuffs with you as shops are scattered. Would love to return.

One week stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Hide. However we were unable to take walks with our dog without using the car which was a pity. The car charger for EV drivers was a real bonus. Internally we found the accommodations to be on the small side for the rent paid. The TV was too high up on the wall and we had to move the seating back to the bed to avoid a cricked neck! The previous week we had stayed in a two bed cottage in Dorset for the same price so our expectations were maybe too high. Having said that the owners were very pleasant and the facilities were very clean and pleasant. We enjoyed our week in Cornwall.

The Hide

Harrods Cornish Cottage is a snail independent family run business and ann absolute Haven of Peace and tranquility with stunning accommodation yet close to everything you could want to do in Cornwall. Rebecca and Chris are superb hosts absolutely nothing is to munch trouble. The Hide is beautifully appointed and they have through of everything. It comprises a fully equipped kitchen even down to washing up liquid, washing up cloth and brush, cling film and foil. The hot tub was beautifully clean and warm set to 38 degrees. The towels provided for the hot tub were huge and fluffy. The bed is extremely comfortable with white satin stripe bed linen and more towels provided for the bathroom. The shower is amazing and the toilet is slightly higher which is lovely. There is even ab ironing board, iron, hairdryer, mini hoover and bowl of dog accessories should they need a bath! The washer/dryer is very quiet and efficient and the settee comfortable. Rebecca and Chris also welcomed our 6 rescue Shih-Tzu’s and allowed them to stay. Absolutely cannot fault this accommodation and its hosts. We come to Cornwall every year and now will never stay anywhere else. Thank you so much for a superb relaxing holiday.from all of us including our 6 Tzu’s. See you next year!

Christams/new year's break

The Hide cottage is compact, but surprisingly, doesn't feel it due to the large windows, allowing light in, it was lovely and warm, it has all you need for a very comfortable self catering break The owners communicated with us well, the self check in is a bonus , as you're not so strict on arrival times, little welcome pack o arrival, nice touch, the hot tub was a lovely bonus,( also its private ) lot of thought gone into the positioning) we were left to our own devices too, owners we're available if needed but definitely not intrusive , all in all great little place, fab location, me my partner Tom and our little frenchie coco had a lovely time, we will definitely book again. Perfect accommodation for two

Perfect little accommodation for two. Super cosy. Warm, clean and welcoming. Hot tub is definitely a bonus especially with the colder weather creeping in. Complimentary cider, scone, jam and cream is very kind and thoughtful. This was our third time and we can't wait to book in to visit again. Thanks again to Rebecca and family.

The cottage is in a very peaceful location surrounded by a lovely garden and woodland.. it’s also in a very good location for exploring.. the cottage itself is lovely and clean and has everything you need for your stay.. The hot tub is a bonus.. really enjoyed our stay

August 2022

I can only praise and thank Rebecca and her family for everything. We booked five cottages and found them all to be excellent. My disabled daughter stayed in the coach house with a carer and Rebecca purchased a special hospital style bed and a gantry hoist for the hot tub; what an amazing service! My wife and I stayed next door in the Stables, also very well equipped and adapted; both have amazing wet rooms. The rest of the care team stayed in the Forge and Wishing Well and my teenage son stayed in the Hideaway; they were all very happy. All the cottages are built, equipped and adapted to a very high standard. Wishing Well is just down the lane from the main site. The cottages on the main site are all tucked away in a secluded setting surrounded by open countryside within lovely gardens - gorgeous. The location is wonderful with close and easy access to the towns and beaches near the sea - perfect. Fantastic service and response from Rebecca and her family if you need anything both at the time of booking and when you are there. We will be back!

The Hide

We had a wonderful time here with our dog. The cottage is beautiful and a great base for a holiday in Cornwall. The welcome gifts were a lovely addition, especially the Bonio for our dog. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We text Rebecca to request a BBQ for the following evening and she appeared with it straight away. The hot tub is fabulous and was welcome after a day out to relax in. The garden is private and secure, filled with lovely plants and seating. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

The Hide was just as described, peaceful and tucked away. Everything was provided and first class, we couldn’t fault a thing. The garden was perfect for our dog and the hot tub was perfect for us.
