'We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is great. There’s lots of dining options and cute shops as well. The staff was nice and helpful, the valet process was quick and easy. Our only complaint we have is there’s no vending machine or option to purchase snacks or beverages on site/front desk. We were told we can go to their sister location or go to Target across the street if we needed any beverages. It was late in the evening when we realized we ran out of water so in situations like...

'Exceeded my expectations. The owners have gone above and beyond in terms of cleanliness, attention to detail, availability of everything a vacation home would need. We checked in, unpacked, and immediately felt at home. Views of Lake Tahoe from inside or from the outside deck are spectacular. This rental home is a gem.'

'This home fit our family needs perfectly. Close to Tahoe City and the lake. Wish we would have had a few more days to take advantage of everything. The HOA access to the private beach and facilities is really nice. Kitchen is well stocked and as we had a family with a one year old, we did cook a number of meals there. Beds were comfortable with nice bedding. Zach, the property manager was amazing. His communication was quick and he took great care of us.Yes, I would definitely recommend...

'Awesome property - beautiful views from the deck and we really enjoyed the amenities around the house. Hosts were generous with providing supplies to get started, like cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc. House was clean and neighborhood was quiet. Only complaint is the lock on the front door wasn't working, and the key provided did not open any of the other doors. This made getting in/out of the house tricky. The management company did call me to notify me of this ahead of time.'

'We found this place at short notice because it was close to the wedding venue. Confortable and quiet! The bed was very uncomfortable but the rest of the place was great!'

'The house was perfect for our group (6 adults and 4 teens). It was a very easy drive (and not a terrible walk) down to the Lake, and was very quiet nestled in the woods. We even saw a mama bear and two cubs walk across the back yard one evening! (The bear box is not just there for show!) The owners were very responsive and easy to reach, and check in/check out were extremely easy. Would definitely recommend the house as a North Lake home base for a large group!'

"This place hasn’t been updated since the 70ies. Our room had a really bad smell. The sleeping couch was worn and torn. The furniture was uncomfortable. The bed was fine. There were some coloring stains on the duvet. The floor was very uneven and there were cracks in the ceiling. The windows couldn’t be opened since the insect screens were torn and there was so much dirt and cobwebs between the screen and the window. It really felt dirty. The laundry room floor was really dirty and the waste bin was overflowing. Two out of four machines were out of service. The swimming pool was dirty. Haven’t seen anyone clean it in three days and you couldn’t even see the bottom. The breakfast was ok. However next to the price for the room you have to pay a resort fee per person per day. Which makes you wonder where they’re using all that money for. It’s not being put in updating or cleaning any facilities or rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this place. "
